Paphiopedilum Species
|
| With their habitats ever diminishing and their popularity on the rise, these plants have rapidly become a much sought-after commodity. We have put a lot of energy to compiling what we believe is one of the more comprehensive (and reasonably peiced!) offerings of these stunning orchids. Unless otherwise noted, these have all been raised from seed. |
| NEW! Paph. delenatii A beautifully rounded bloom held well above some of the finest foliage in the genus, which is really saying something! Petals and dorsal are white to soft shell pink. Pouch is medium pink. Usually two blooms per stem. On warm days, these have a faint lemony fragrance. 2 1/2" pots, 1 year to bloom. $25.00 |
| NEW! Paphiopedilum glaucophyllum var. Moquettianum A beautiful sequential bloomer in the Cochlopetalum section of the genus. The dorsal sepal is bright yellow-green, lightly speckled in rose. The twisted petals are rosy pink, heavily spotted with black. The pouch is rosy pink. This one can bloom for years without stopping at maturity. This is the largest member of the Cochlopetalum section, and certainly the most valuable as a parent. Most of the finest plants of both Paph. Vangard and Paph. Transvaal have this as one parent! 3" pots, about 1 year to bloom. $15.00; Blooming $25.00 |
| NEW! Paphiopedilum callosum("JAC" AM/AOS x "BLACK BART") This is where all of the "Flame" and "Peacock Flame" hybrids have come from.
