of the showiest of all the orchids. Known as the "nun orchid".
Soft green leaves 2-3 feet tall make a beautiful foliage plant. Flower spikes
are 3-5 feet tall, and give up to a dozen 5-6" blooms each. The blooms
are shaped like cattleyas, and are tan on the face, white on the back. The
lip is white with pink highlights. Primarily spring bloomers, but a well-grown
